For 35 years, Pacific Energy and Town and Country Fireplaces’ mission has been to design and develop cleaner, more efficient and more beautiful fireplace heating solutions. It all started with one man, President Paul Erickson, in his basement. “We have had several magnitudes of growth since then,” Erickson says.

Starting with wood-burning stoves, the company also entered the gas fireplace business in the 1990s, followed by a push into the residential pellet stove business in 2005. Pellet stoves typically burn pellets of wood or other organic materials.

At LMB Construction & Design, workers not only specialize in meeting client expectations, but exceeding them, owner William Roy said in a statement. “Our customers keep coming back because we’re dependable, knowledgeable and pleasant to work with,” he stated.

Based in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Canada, the company’s range of specialties include custom homebuilding; cottages, garages and sheds; renovations and additions; kitchen cabinets; wood and laminate flooring; and asphalt, fiberglass and steel roofing. Additionally, the firm is an insulated concrete form trained installer.

The kitchen is said to be the heart of the home. It is the place friends and family gather, where family recipes are passed down to the next generation and new traditions are born. Every homeowner has their own vision of what that space should look like and Laurysen Kitchens Ltd. works to take those dreams and turn them into reality.

“A lot of our design influences come from our customers who bring us pictures from magazines or a scrapbook of ideas,” Vice President of Operations Bill Laurysen says.
